Huzzah! Spark a revolution with our rustic, hand-wrought pewter matchbox. Engraved Spark a Revolution and No More Kings, the title of the song from Schoolhouse Rock back when we were growing up. This hinged matchbox is inspired by the understated elegance of utilitarian, pewter objects of colonial America we love, and the democratic ideals we all share. Part of our collection of pewter housewares honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States. 

Comes with bundle of 100 strike-anywhere matches, and features striker plate on side of box.

3 3/4"wide x 2 5/8"deep x 1" tall.

Made in our Rhode Island studio from fine pewter.

The perfect practical keepsake

I knew I had to have a "Spark a Revolution" matchbox as soon as I saw it. The object itself is beautiful and well-made. I'm not one for 250th souvenirs, but the historical and contemporary meaning - as well as the practical purpose - of the matchbox are exactly right for me. Thank you!
